As Minister of Culture and Youth, Her Excellency Noura Al Kaabi is responsible for driving a thriving culture, media and youth environment. She has contributed to the development and sponsorship of many strategies and initiatives that stimulate the cultural and creative industries sector, and established an incubating and supportive environment for youth empowerment. She has made remarkable efforts in formulating new legislation and policies that advance the media industries, and the heritage and cultural creativity in the country.

Her Excellency currently also serves as President of Zayed University; Chair of the National Commission for Education, Culture and Science; and Commissioner-General of the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. She is also a member of the Ministerial Development Council.

Her Excellency’s notable previous designations include Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development (2017-2020), Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs (2016-2017), and Chairperson of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Council (2016-2019). Other positions held include: CEO and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of twofour54 Media Free Zone in Abu Dhabi and Chairperson of the Abu Dhabi Media Company.

In her various roles, Her Excellency has represented the United Arab Emirates in a multitude of regional and international gatherings, promoting a range of issues and initiatives while engaging with the UAE’s global partners.
